Treatments with low environmental impact

As early as the beginning of the 1980s, CIV & CIV was one of the first companies to promote among its members the application of integrated production techniques, through the targeted use of treatments with low environmental impact to control harmful insects in the vineyards.

In the following years, thanks to close cooperation between the member-growers and our expert agronomists, a project of fully-fledged integrated production was established. This made it possible to control directly all the production factors and phases from pruning to harvesting, with the primary objective of safeguarding consumer health and the well-being of the community, thereby drastically reducing the emission of harmful substances into the environment.
